 SBU detained renegade forest officer in Luhansk region

The Security Service of Ukraine detained a forest officer, resident of the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region, who provided "LPR" terrorists with defense data.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the SBU press service.

According to the press service, the detainee, being out of any suspicion, examined his territory simultaneously recording location and number of troops at the Ukrainian checkpoints, as well as railway transportation of the Ukrainian army military equipment.

The collected data was transmitted to the "LPR" militants through conspiracy means.

A pre-trial investigation under Part 1, Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is underway. The informant's accomplices and details of criminal activity are being identified. According to Ukrainian legislation, aiding in activity of criminal organisation is punished by a prison sentence of up to 15 years.
