 Four soldiers of Right Sector detained. Six more persons are hiding in Mukacheve district, - SBU

The Security Service of Ukraine is currently searching six soldiers of the Right Sector in the area of 40 square kilometers adjacent to Mukacheve in the Zakarpattia region.

Head of the Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine Hryhorii Ostafiichuk said at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

He noted that four soldiers of the Right Sector have been detained as of now.

"Another six persons are hiding somewhere in the territory of Mukacheve district... in the area of 40 square kilometers situated in the mountains and covered with forests. The search operation is underway," head of the SBU Main Investigation Department said.

According to Ostafiichuk, the primary lead of the conflict between the Right Sector and the members of the Bliuk organized criminal group that took place July 11 in Mukacheve was the war for the redistribution of control over contraband traffic in the region.

In this case, the SBU considers it necessary to check the local police officers for involvement in the conflict.

At the same time, Ostafiichuk is confident that the mentioned events bear no signs of terrorist activities.
