The Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk met with the British Prime Minister David Cameron during his working visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on Wednesday, July 15.

As reported by Censor.NET, this is announced on the governmental web portal.

Arsenii Yatseniuk expressed gratitude to the Government of the United Kingdom and personally to David Cameron for strong support of Ukraine: "We feel that you support the Ukrainian people in the struggle against Russian aggression".

"You are one of the leaders in support of the Ukrainian people. And we believe that together we can create a success story," the Ukrainian PM said.

He emphasized that Ukraine and the UK had much in common. Once, the prime minister said, the Government of David Cameron adopted an austerity package: "And you made your economy truly prosperous and powerful".

Yatseniuk stressed the Government of Ukraine had made similar steps. He noted that the experience of both countries would help make "the world better for the EU to remain united and remain a key player in support of the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine".

Moreover, Yatseniuk invited Cameron to visit Ukraine.
