"At around 10 a.m. an explosion occurred at the police station entrance on Yurii Lypa Street. The injured is a 31-year-old policewoman, she lost her leg," the press secretary of the regional internal affairs department Svitlana Dobrovolska said.
According to her, the woman's condition is grave, as well as her colleague's, who tripped a bomb near a police station on Pluhova Street.
The circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
As reported earlier, at around 9 a.m. an explosion rocked the police station entrance on Pluhova Street in Lviv. It occurred when an officer of the Shevchenkivskyi district police department was opening the door. According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred as a result of triggering a so-called trip-wire.
The wounded 24-year-old police lieutenant was taken to hospital with multiple shrapnel wounds to the head and body. The man's condition is grave.
