 Soldier's Portrait charity exhibition by Censor.NET journalist-photographer Yasynska to take place in Kyiv

14-19 July, the Soldier's Portrait charity photo exhibition will take place in Kyiv.

The raised funds will be used for the rehabilitation of soldiers. The photo exhibition is organized by the Union of Veterans of Anti-terror NGO and the Wounded Warrior Ukraine project (USA), being involved in the organization of the training "Comrade", aimed at acquiring skills to deal with states of shock and PTSD (posttraumatic stress disorder) by soldiers and ATO veterans. 14-19 July, the Soldier's Portrait charity photo exhibition by the Censor.NET journalist-photographer Vika Yasynska will take place in Kyiv.

The exhibition will show a series of psychological portraits of soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the Ukrainian statehood in the Donbas. The author of the exhibition aims to show the inner world of different social status people, united by desire to protect their homeland. Impressive photographs are combined with fighters' quotations about their thoughts, motives, feelings and military experience.

Vika Yasynska has highlighted the problem of military operations in the east of Ukraine since July 2014. She is the author of a series of interviews with Ukrainian servicemen.

The money collected during the exhibition will be used to support the training "Comrade" in Ukraine. After demonstration in Kyiv, the exhibition will be presented in the United States.
