As reported by Censor.NET, this is announced in his letter to the Internal Affairs Ministry, acquired by Radio Svoboda and UA: Pershyi TV Channel Skhemy TV show.
"Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has unreasonably entered information in the Unified State Register of Pre-trial Investigations about VAT understatement by the BRSM group of companies for the amount of 1.2 billion hryvnias," the letter of the Deputy Interior Minister Vasyl Paskal signed by Volodymyr Huzyr reads.
"In order to safeguard the constitutional rights of individuals and legal entities, to prevent unlawful interference of the law enforcement bodies in their business activities I order to take effective measures on strengthening the institutional monitoring of the pre-trial investigation," Huzyr concludes.
The letter is dated June 8. This is the day, when a large-scale fire occurred at the BRSM oil depot.
Moreover, journalist Serhii Ivanov in the article "Prosecutor's "protection" of business which led to the tragedy," reveals documents proving the fact the PGO is collecting data on police officers investigating the oil machinations of Eduard Stavytskyi, asking for not only names and telephone numbers, but also copies of orders of appointment, business trips, vacation, sick leave and even information on their previous employment. The request is signed by the Huzyr's subordinate - Head of the Department of Investigation of Crimes Committed by Law Enforcement Officials of the Main Investigation Department of the PGO V. Hrebtak.
During a telephone conversation with the journalists of Schemy, Volodymyr Huzyr refused to comment on the letter signed by him.
