 Three postal service cash collectors killed in assault in Kharkiv (updated)

An armed robbery assault of a post office branch occurred in Kharkiv on Newton St. at 8:40 a.m. Friday, July 10.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by MP, Interior Minister Adviser Anton Herashchenko on his Facebook page.

According to him, three cash collectors of a postal service were killed, and 2.3 million UAH ($95,800) was stolen, according to preliminary information. Interception plan has been introduced in the city. An investigation team is operating on site.

"We ask those who witnessed the tragedy to provide details and help the investigation to find the killers. One of the main versions will be that this crime has been conducted by someone of the group of individuals who had robbed and killed cash collectors four times previously and had not been revealed," Herashchenko said.

According to preliminary data, the criminal was acting alone. His distinguishing features are as follows:
Height - 190 cm, fair hair, short forelock at his forehead, long hair.
He was wearing pale-colored shirt, short grey knickerbockers, and sandals.
During the assault, the criminal was wearing a helmet and a mask.

According to Herashchenko, the criminal left the scene by VAZ 2110 of silver color, plate number АХ8632АЕ.

"Hopefully, this tragedy will drop the curtain in this line of robbing and killing," the MP added.
