Parubii urges to oust judges who released high-ranking prosecutors on bail

The judges who have released two senior prosecutors suspected of taking bribes on bail should be removed from office.

First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrii Parubii wrote on Facebook Wednesday, July 8, Censor.NET reports.

"Having released senior prosecutors on bail, the judicial system has proven that the mutual corruption cover up of the law enforcement and judicial systems is the home front of Ukraine's destruction (...) Those bribable "diamond" prosecutors and purchasable "golden" judges are more dangerous than Putin's Grads, Buks and tanks," he wrote.

"The judges who ruled to release of the deputy prosecutor of the Kyiv region and the PGO official on bail should be ousted from their posts. I have submitted the relevant appeal to the High Qualification Commission of Judges," Parubii wrote.

He stressed that such cases should be investigated.
