"Yesterday, July 6, after a relative calm, the pro-Russian gangs intensified their activities along the demarcation line since 6:00 p.m. till midnight. During that time, they shelled the ATO forces positions 26 times. Of these, four times were with 120-mm mortars, prohibited by the Minsk agreements," the report reads.
It is noted that at 8:20 p.m. militants were shelling the ATO forces positions with mines for half an hour near the village of Troitske, in the Donetsk region.
At 10:30 p.m. a 40-minute shelling occurred near Pisky.
In the Luhansk region at 9:35 p.m. Ukrainian military were shelled near Shchastia, and at 10:00 p.m. - near Novotroitske in the Mariupol direction.
"From 5.50 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. near the village of Bohdanivka in the Mariupol direction, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled an attack by pro-Russian militants," the press center reports.
Pro-Russian illegal armed units provoked Ukrainian military firing at their positions from small arms.
In the Luhansk region they did so near the villages of Krymske, Shchastia, Stanytsia Luhanska, Zolote.
In the Donetsk region - near Verkhnetoretske, Pisky, Marinka, Opytne.
In the Luhansk and Mariupol directions seven enemy drones flights were recorded.
On Tuesday, July 7, terrorists began firing 120-mm mortars at the ATO forces positions near Novhorodske and Pavlopil in the Donetsk region.
Militants used a tank near Pavlopil at 4:10 a.m.
Terrorists delivered harassing small arms fire in the direction of Marinka, Luhanske, Opytne in the Donetsk area.
The situation in the ATO area is under control of the Ukrainian military.
