 Terrorists' intelligence became more active in ATO area

The situation remained tense in the ATO area on July 4. However, the intensity of militants' provocation decreases slowly.

Presidential Administration of Ukraine spokesperson on ATO issues Oleksandr Motuzianyk announced today at a briefing, Censor.NET informs.

Illeagal armed groups became more active in sabotage and intelligence activities along the demarcation line, at some infrastructure facilities, in the rear and along the supply routes for the ATO forces.

Yesterday, seven enemy drones were registered in the ATO zone.

"The militants roughly violate the Minsk agreements using banned weapons. 11 cases of shelling of Ukrainian forces' positions from 120mm mortars and three cases of shelling from 122mm artillery were registered over the past 24 hours. Ukrainian soldiers repelled the attacks forcing the miilitants to cease fire," Motuzianyk said.

In the Luhansk sector, the most active militants' attacks were reported near Shchastia, Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, and Novotoshkivske. The illeagal armed groups fired from mortars, grenade launchers, artillery, anti-aircraft guns, and small arms.

In the Donetsk sector, the situation remained tense near the town of Horlivka, Novhorodske, Lozove, Avdiivka, Opytne, and Marinka.

Only one case of cease-fire violation was reported in the Mariupol sector, near Starohnativka village. The truce was kept in Shyrokyne.
