From 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 3 the situation in the anti-terrorist operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions remained under the control of the ATO forces.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing the press center of the ATO.

The report notes: "During this time, militants of the Russian-terrorist groups fired at Ukrainian defenders 16 times.

"Violating the Minsk agreement the enemy shelled the ATO forces using 152-mm guns near the Triokhzbenka at night. From 11 to 12 p.m. pro-Russian mercenaries used 152-mm artillery near Opytne. 30-minute shelling of these positions were conducted at 9, 10, 11 a.m, and 2 p.m. with the use of 122-mm artillery, 120-mm mortars and heavy machine guns.

"From 10:40 to 11:50 a.m. the enemy fired 120-mm mortars at the Ukrainian military in the area of Novotroitske village.

"At 3.30 p.m. militants conducted a 60-minute bombardment of the Ukrainian military near Rozsadka, Sanzharivka, and Troitske using 120-mm mortars.

"At 5:10 p.m. a combat clash of the ATO forces and a sabotage and reconnaissance group of Russian invaders took place near Shchastia. Using small arms, the Ukrainian military forced the enemy to retreat.

"Defenders of Ukraine act with confidence in all areas of defense not giving in to militants' provocations and giving adequate response using weapons not prohibited by the Minsk agreement."
