 Court of Appeal reversed the bail and arrested Buzyna murder suspect Polishchuk for two months

The Court of Appeal dismissed the bail and changed the measure of restraint for the suspect in the murder of Oles Buzyna, who had previously been released on 5,000,000 hryvnia bail.

This is stated in the court ruling, Censor.NET reports citing LB.ua.

The change of the preventive measure was demanded by the prosecution.

New preventive measure elected for Polishchuk is two months in jail.

During the court session, Polishchuk's lawyers stated that the police compiled the sketch of the killer based on witness description. At that, the witness was shown pictures of Polishchuk and the second suspect - Andrii Medvedko, and she did not recognize them as killers.

The lawyers demanded to interrogate the murder witnesses present in court, but the prosecutors objected the demand since "it was not the case hearing, but an election of preventive measure." The court upheld the prosecution.

According to the Ukrainian News, the decision of the court canceled the previous decision of the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kiev on setting bail and satisfying the request of the senior investigator of the Kyiv police on taking Polishchuk into custody.

After the announcement of the court's decision, the activists of the Right Sector, Polishchuk's family and friends began to protest violently.

Currently Polischuk is in the courtroom, separated from the activists by a row of law enforcement officers.
