 Yatseniuk calls on Prosecutor General's Office to deal with fired officials

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk looks forward to PGO's reaction on the officials dismissed as a result of internal investigations.

This was announced by the prime minister at the meeting in the Ministry of InfrastructureSource:/n342314 on Thursday, July 2, Censor.NET informs citing Cabinet of Ministers press service.

Yatseniuk reminded he had signed the decree on suspension of the Head of the State Aviation Service Denis Antoniuk.

The prime minister also said he had ordered to immediately conduct an internal investigation:

"As a part of the internal investigation I request you to invite all the airlines that participated in the contest. In particular Atlas Jet, which is to publicly say whether it considers this contest rigged or not."

"We need to involve everyone to establish the truth. And I'm ready to take the toughest decisions," Yatseniuk said.

He also expects reaction from the Prosecutor General's Office "regarding all persons who have been dismissed by the government and become subjects of internal investigations, but who are still not in jail for some reason."

Yatseniuk reminded the decision on the investigation and dismissal of the head of the State Financial Inspection had been taken. "Today the Parliament has decided on the dismissal of the Minister, who is accused of corruption."

"And once you start firing someone and investigate their corrupt activities, they immediately become "fighters against corruption". It turns out they have fought against corruption. However, in a quiet manner, and no one is aware of it" the prime minister resumed.
