 Kramatorsk court has sentenced a 20-year old militant to three and a half years

Kramatorsk court has sentenced a 20-year old resident of Kramatorsk (Donetsk region) to three and a half years for participation in the "DPR" terrorist organisation.

This is stated in an announcement of the Donetsk region prosecutor's office press service, Censor.NET informs.

The man has been found guilty of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 260 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (creation of or participation in illegal paramilitary or armed groups).

During the pre-trial investigation it was found that in late April 2014, when the city of Kramatorsk was temporarily under the control of militants, a man entered the ranks of the "DPR" terrorist organization. He carried out illegal militant service on a block post, located at the entrance to Kramatorsk.

However, in early February 2015, the convict was detained by law enforcement officers and arrested. For participation in the terrorist organization the young man is sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment.
