Situation in the ATO area remains tense, and there is a threat of resumption of active hostilities by pro-Russian illegal armed gangs at separate directions.

Censor.NET was informed by the ATO press center.

The message reads as follows: "The enemy continues to build up its forces, rotates its personnel within separate detachments, and secretly redeploys military equipment closer to the demarcation line. The anti-terrorist operation command, in its turn, takes necessary steps to enhance its defense and create reserves that will allow giving adequate response to the enemy in case it attempts to seize Ukraine-controlled areas."

The number of shelling cases is stable and high on part of the pro-Russian mercenaries, the report states. Over the past day, the enemy shelled the Ukrainian forces' positions for 101 times. Today, terrorists fired at Ukrainian positions for 38 times, using Minsk-banned weapons, the press center informed.

"The most difficult situation is at Donetsk direction. In the morning, pro-Russian gangs shelled Ukrainian positions near Hranitne and Starohnativka with 122-mm howitzers, and with tanks near Opytne. Krymske village was fired at with automated grenade launchers. Sokilnyky were shelled with 120-mm mortars.

"In the afternoon, Ukrainian units near Shyrokyne were shelled with 120-mm mortars. An enemy's tank was firing near Hranitne. It was unquiet near Marinka. After noon, the enemy fired at Ukrainian positions with small arms and 82-mm mortars," the message reads.
