"The militants of the hybrid pro-Russian gangs were committing a daily average of 80 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian military as well as peaceful cities and villages during the past week. A total of 540 violations of the terms of the cease-fire deal by the illegal armed groups were recorded over the week. More than a half of them were committed in the vicinity of occupied Donetsk," the statement reads.
"The bandits committed about 30 armed provocations against the ATO forces along the entire demarcation line June 28. The Kremlin mercenaries conducted massive artillery strike from prohibited 152-mm howitzers on our defenders serving not far from the village of Druzhba at night. 20 MLRS Grad rockets launched from the temporarily occupied territories has also imacted Nyzhnie village in the Luhansk region," the ATO headquarters noted.
"The militants employed 120-mm mortars at all directions during the day, in particular near Pisky, Opytne, Butovka mine Verkhniotoretske, Mariupol, and Hranitne. The militants and the Russian servicemen shelled Zolote village from tanks. The situation in the ATO area remains generally difficult but still controlled by the Ukrainian military.
The HQ stressed that the invaders openly violated the Minsk agreement using prohibited weapons.
