 Dokuchaievsk residents protest after civilian was killed by terrorist, - ATO speaker

Popular discontent is growing on the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.

This was announced by the Presidential Administration speaker on ATO matters Andrii Lysenko, Censor.NET reports.

"Two days ago a rally took place in Dokuchaievsk, organized to protest against a terrible crime by the occupants: a terrorist shot a local resident dead at a checkpoint. The residents also demanded to stop shelling the Ukrainian positions from residential areas," Lysenko said.

He also said that information of the threats from armed militants to demonstrators in the downtown of Donetsk on June 15 is confirmed. The people demanded to stop deployment of heavy weapons and personnel of the illegal armed gangs in residential areas, for this poses a threat for civilians.
