"We will consider it at tomorrow's Cabinet meeting. As you know, the prime minister has appealed to the BYuT (Blok Yuliyi Tymoshenko - Ed.) faction. Both the faction and the coalition are considering this issue today," Voshchevskyi said.
According to him, it is the parliament that should take the decision on the resignation of the minister and the Cabinet of Ministers intends to consider the motion to the Verkhovna Rada on the resignation of Shevchenko.
"The total incompetence, ill-preparedness to manage the ministry ... I think that the coalition will understand that a mistake has been made back in the day. It will take the appropriate decision and the parliament will vote for the dismissal of Mr. Shevchenko from the post of the Minister of Ecology," the deputy prime minister said.
He announced that the analysis of Shevchenko's work showed his incompetence as the Minister of Environment.
"We together with the experts had forcedly conducted a brief analysis of the ministry two or three weeks ago since it was clear that the ministry had huge problems. The conclusion that was made and formalized in internal report to the government showed a complete lack of consistency, randomness of unweighted management decisions, incompetence and irresponsibility of the Minister of Environment," Voshchevskyi said.
