At the same time, outskirts of Borove village where the wells for supplying water to Popasna district are located were also shelled by Grad systems.

Four wells were incapacitated. As a result of shelling water supply is at Karbonit - Zolote, Karbonit - Popasna, Karbonit - Pervomaisk (occupied territory) was disrupted. Currently most of the towns and villages in the district supplied by Popasnavoda are left without water.

"It was a deliberate shelling of life-support systems in the territory controlled by Ukraine," Moskal said. "The Luhansk region has not experienced such powerful attacks since the beginning of the year. It was a nightmare at the demarcation line Tuesday night! The detailed impact of the attacks is still being assessed, but it is clear that restoring the water supply in a short time will not be possible. For now the water will be delivered to the civilian population by the rescuers of the State Emergency Service," Moskal concluded.
