 Two explosions occurred near offices of Russian Sberbank in Kyiv. PHOTOS

The Kyiv police received two calls at around 2 a.m. - eyewitnesses reported explosions in Darnytskyi and Obolonskyi district. Measures are being taken to identify those involved in the events.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the Interior Ministry.

"Within five minutes 102 emergency line received two identical calls. Explosions occurred near branches of the bank in Obolonskyi and Darnytskyi districts. Detonation of unknown objects caused minor damages to the buildings of the financial institution branches. The blast damaged doors, windows, and a sign with the name of the bank. There were no casualties as the result of unknown devices," the report says.

Explosives experts are working at the scene.

Law enforcement officers are interrogating potential witnesses and examining the surrounding area regarding video surveillance cameras.

Measures are being taken to identify those involved in committing criminal offenses.

Investigators of Darnytskyi and Obolonskyi police initiated criminal proceedings under pt. 4, Art. 296 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism).

According to zn.ua citing eyewitnesses, an explosion took place near the offices of Russian Sberbank in Pozniaky area around 1 a.m. The second explosion occurred near Sberbank building in Kurenivka area around the same time.
