Russia testing new weapons in Donbas

President Petro Poroshenko has met with a delegation of U.S. senators led by John McCain.

Censor.NET reports citing the president's press service.

Poroshenko informed senators of the situation in the Donbas, stressing that Russian militants continue to attack Ukrainian soldiers and violate the Minsk agreements.

"Ukraine has managed to build a strong army. However, we are fighting with 20th century weapons against 21st century weapons, as Russia is supplying the terrorists in the Donbas with military equipment and using Ukraine as a test range for modern weapons," Poroshenko said.

President Poroshenko also thanked The United States of America for strong support of Ukraine at the difficult time.
