 Law enforcers detained two suspects in Buzyna murder case, - Prosecutor's Office

Law enforcers have detained two suspects in the killing of journalist Oles Buzyna in Kyiv. They are the city residents aged 25 and 26.

This was reported by Kyiv Prosecutor's Office press service, Censor.NET reports.

"Withing investigation of the criminal case of the murder of famous Ukrainian journalist Oles Buzyna, the city prosecutor's office and Interior ministry department jointly found and detained two persons who are in good faith suspected in committing this high profile crime," the message reads.

The prosecutor's office announced that two Kyiv residents aged 25 and 26 were detained on Thursday, June 18.

"The suspects will be presented with allegations of crime commitment under part 2 of Article 115 of Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder), and custody as matter of restraint is being decided upon," the authority informed.

Procedural administration of the criminal proceeding is being conducted by Kyiv Prosecution office.
