Canada's Ambassador to Ukraine's leadership: Do not assign dull people to be responsible for cooperation with NATO

The problem for the Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine is dull people in the position of power.

This was stated by Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Roman Vashchuk during the Ukraine-NATO Partnership Diagnostics conference, Censor.NET reports citing Yevropeiska Pravda.

"I have a tip for Ukraine: do not put dull people on posts responsible for cooperation with NATO," he said.

"There are a lot of problems at the level of middle management. When I come to NATO office, I can talk about the fantastic reforms in Ukraine, but in response I hear that the Ukrainian authorities with whom they communicate do not respond for weeks and months," Vashchuk said.

At the same time, he noted positive changes in the Ministry of Defense.

Earlier, Deputy Defense Minister on European integration, former ambassador to NATO, Ihor Dolhov said that Ukraine should not rely on the military intervention of NATO but shall reform the army.
