 Terrorists shelled Ukrainian army's positions and villages for more than 100 times, - ATO press center

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation area remains tense. Over the past day, mercenaries of illegal armed gangs shelled the Ukrainian army's positions and villages for more than 100 times.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing the ATO press center.

"Starting from 6 p.m. yesterday until now, the Russian-terrorist troops used weapons against Ukrainian soldiers 40 times," the message reads.

Terrorists shelled Opytne, Taramchuk, Berezove, Pisky, Marinka, Krasnohorivka with Minsk-banned weapons, including mortars and howitzers of caliber of over 100 mm.

At the Artemivsk area, mercenaries shelled Zolote, Komyshuvakha with 120-mm mortars, and Sokilnyky was fired upon at the Luhansk direction.

After midnight, Marinka was the most shelled spot, being fired upon with 120-mm mortars and MLRSes.

Hranitne, Novohryhorivka, Bohdanivka, and Krasnohorivka were shelled with 122-mm howitzers from temporarily occupied territories.

The same systems were used to shell Ukrainian positions near Stepove, the Luhansk region, and Novotoshkivka near Artemivsk twice.

An enemy's tank fired at the Ukrainian army's positions near Opytne and Pisky.

It was relatively calm near Mariupol at night, except for single cases of small arms and grenade launchers use.

It is also reported that the enemy continued to conduct active aerial reconnaissance. 16 drone flights were recorded overnight.
