The summary reads: "The situation in the ATO area remained tense but controlled today.
"The illegal armed formations once again violated the terms of the Minsk agreement this morning by using weapons banned by the given accords. The most difficult situation was at the Donetsk direction.
"The militants employed 122-mm self-propelled guns near Mykolaivka and Opytne. In addition, the enemy has shelled the villages of Opytne and Pisky several times from 120-mm mortars while Starohnativka village was treacherously shelled by the militants from Grad multiple rocket launchers at noon.
"There was no escalation of the situation near Marinka - no shellings were recorded during the day. This town is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
The press center stressed: "The militants have resorted to armed provocations using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms on approaches to Shchastia and to the east of the Zhelobok village at the Luhansk direction. They also shelled Krymske village from 120-mm mortars twice.
"The enemy provoked the ATO forces using firearms near Lozove village at the Artemivsk direction. The attacks were committed by the enemy snipers and the shelling from 120-mm mortars was conducted there as well.
"The activity of the illegal armed groups in the vicinity of Mariupol has decreased. However, the bandits have fired at our positions in Shyrokyne from small arms and automatic grenade launchers.
In turn, the Ukrainian soldiers strictly adhere to the terms of the Minsk agreements remaining unprovoked and use weapons only to suppress the armed aggression of the enemy."
