 Land of Yanukovych’s Syniohora residence returned to the state – Prosecutor General’s Office

0.5 hectares of land were privatized by ex-president Viktor Yanukovych and his cronies on the basis of false decisions of the village council.

The decision of the Bohorodchany District Court satisfied another two claims of the Ivano-Frankivsk region prosecutors' office to invalidate state acts on the right of private ownership of land in Syniohora state residence, Censor.NET reports citing the press office of the PGO.

"0.5 hectares of land were privatized by ex-president Viktor Yanukovych and his cronies on the basis of false decisions of the village council. Summer houses were illegally built in the areas, whose permanent user is State Affairs Department," the statement said.

The regional prosecutor's office filed four lawsuits to return to the land of natural reserve fund. The claims have been satisfied, the land has been returned to state ownership.

Earlier, Syniohora and Zalissia became available for tourists by the presidential residence.
