 Parliamentary Procedural Committee reconsidered its decision and voted for revoking Kliuiev's immunity

The Procedural Committee reconsidered its decision regarding people's deputy Serhii Kliuiev and recommended the Verkhovna Rada to lift his parliamentary immunity.

The decision was passed at a meeting of the committee, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.

The decision was supported by six out of ten members of the committee. In addition to Procedural Committee members the meeting was attended by Andrii Parubii, Andrii Teteruk, Oleh Liashko, and Yehor Sobolev.

The MPs recognized the legitimacy of the PGO submission (for lifting immunity) and recommended te speaker of Parliament, Volodymyr Hroisman to introduce to put it to vote. The draft decision on the abandoned the words regarding the validity of the submission and the previous decision had been amended.

Serhii Kliuiev stated that "if he does not find justice in Ukraine, he will turn to the international courts."
