There is plenty of evidence that MH17 was hit by a rocket fired from the territory controlled by the militants - General Staff

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reacted to the new Russian study of the Malaysian Boeing downing over the Donbas, where they, for the first time, officially recognized that the plane was hit by a Buk missile.

"There are many expert opinions that support the view of the Ukrainian side - the plane was shot down by a Buk (Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system - ed.) from the territory controlled by the militants. There are numerous photos and videos, radio intercepts of militants who greatly rejoiced that another Ukrainian plane was shot down, and when it became clear that it was a Malaysian aircraft, they bit their tongues. It all works for the benefit of our version," speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Vladyslav Selezniov told Interfax-Ukraine agency, Censor.NET reports.

Selezniov stressed: "We understand the fact that while there is an investigation, which is expected to be completed in fall of this year, so we do not comment."

"There are a lot of photos and video, which confirmed the route of the complex's movement in the territory of the Russian Federation, and the fact of its crossing the Russian-Ukrainian border and its work in the territory, which calls itself the "DPR," he added.
