"My client believes that appealing his arrest until July 19 will not affect his fate in this case. My client's position is to cooperate with the investigation. And the conditions of detention in the VIP-ward of the military hospital are more than satisfying," Kostiantyn Kravchuk said.
The lawyer made a submission to the Prosecutor General's Office with a request to drop the charges of terrorist activities against Alexander Aleksandrov. The lawyer said that his client did not use firearms in the territory of Ukraine, thus he can only be found guilty of illegally crossing the state border for the purpose of intelligence gathering.
Yevgeniy Yerofeyev, in turn, is going to appeal the court's decision regarding his arrest.
