According to the response, the investigation of the case of Olena Lukash is still underway. The criminal proceeding from April 18, 2014 on the essential elements of offence committed in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine under Part 1 of the Article 367 and Part 1 of the Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine are meant.
The investigation of the abuse of power by the former leadership of the Ministry of Education and Science during performance of the public procurement, implementation of public procurement procedures, and alienation of state property is underway as well. This case concerns Dmytro Tabachnyk. In addition, the essential elements of the crime during the development and construction of the National Children's special hospital "Okhmatdet" and one more proceeding regarding the abuse of office and embezzlement are still being investigated. They concern Viktor Yanukovych Jr., who died March 22.
The Prosecutor General's Office has reminded that it has filed a request to the Verkhovna Rada for prosecution of Serhii Kliuiev, who has already been served notice of suspicion of committing criminal offenses including fraud, embezzlement and abuse of power and office. The EU may lift sanctions imposed against former officials representing the Party of Regions Serhii Kliuiev, Olena Lukash, and Dmytro Tabachnyk June 6, 2015. The sanctions will be lifted if all these ex-officials are not served notice of suspicion.
