"The indictment against the said persons (Alexandrov and Yerofeyev - ed.), will of course be heard by a Ukrainian court and the verdict Ukrainian (possibly guilty but let's stick to the presumption of innocence) will be announced by the court on behalf of Ukraine. I am sure that in two or three month we will complete the pre-trial investigation," Vovk wrote.
According to him, Yerofeyev and Aleksandrov, arrested by Shevchenkivskyi district court of Kyiv, have been notified of suspicion of committing a terrorist act and assisting "LPR" terrorist organization.
He also said that in future, international courts can use the materials of the criminal proceedings as a "separate fact of a large scale Russian aggression, as one of the evidence in the Hague Tribunal of war crimes committed by senior officials of the Russian Federation."
"The International Court of Justice can question the Russian servicemen and conduct other proceedings with their participation," Vovk said.
