 Ukraine and Georgia may receive visa-free regime in the near future if they meet the case - EU Commissioner Hahn

EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Johannes Hahn said that he expects European Commission’s positive assessment of the progress of the Ukraine and Georgia's Action Plan on visa regime liberalization with the EU.

He stated this at the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga on Friday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

The commissioner said that according to the draft declaration, it is possible in the near future if Ukraine and Georgia will fulfill essential requirements.

Hahn added that the main prerequisite for Ukraine and Georgia visa-free regime is positive findings in a report of the European Commission, which will be made public before the end of 2015.
