"There is information that more and more people from that side [separatists' - ed.] are trying to join us. They come and openly say "we were serving at the checkpoints there, we can tell about the positions, leadership, disclose locations where weapons are delivered to," and so on. It is clear that there are operational channels. These people can be sent back being already our agents, and they provide us with this information. Therefore, we cannot expose the information on each detention for we will disclose our sources," he said.
In addition, Lysenko noted that if there is a possibility to report on arrests of militants a battle taking place somewhere, the information becomes available to the public.
