 Ukraine abides by humanitarian requirements regarding captured Russian special forces soldiers - Poroshenko

Ukrainian military abode by all humanitarian requirements when detaining servicemen of the Russia's GRU in the Luhansk region.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at a joint press conference with Slovak President Andrej Kiska in Kyiv on Wednesday, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"Another fact of Russian aggression was demonstrated recently, when Ukrainian military seized two Russian special forces servicemen from regular Russian troops and showed them to the world. The Ukrainian military abode by all humanitarian requirements, secured medical aid, granted access for the International Red Cross Committee, OSCE. They showed irrefutable evidence of the presence of the Russian Federation Armed Forces on our territory and irrefutable evidence of Russian aggression against Ukraine," he said.
