Rusian commandos captured in Luhansk region cannot be exchanged.

This was stated by Valentyn Nalyvaichenko, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine at a briefing today, Censor.NET reports citing LigaBusinessInform.

"They are subject of criminal liability, еру investigators are working with them. They shall be liable under Art. 258 of the Criminal Code - terorist activity and terrorist crimes," he emphasized.

According to Nalyvaichenko, a permission from the president wili possibly be received in the nearest future to present "convincing evidence, that namely Russian citizens, Russian servicemen were committing terrorist attacks in Luhansk region."

The head of the SBU noted earlier that the detainees confirmed that they were indeed Russian servicemen, members of a terrorist group that came to Ukraine in order to commit terrorist attacks against civilians as well as the Ukrainian army.

"They were sent to the territory of Ukraine from the 3rd separate special group of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) of the Russian General Staff, military installation #21-208 (Togliatti) in order to commit terrorist acts using Russian made special weapons," he said.

Nalyvaichenko reminded that the said Russian commandos while killed a Ukrainian serviceman and wounded Security Service officers that in the course of the detention.
