About 50,000 Russian troops concentrate at the Russian-Ukrainian border.

This was announced by the Ukrainian Army Joint Staff representative Vladyslav Selezniov on air of Channel 5, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

According to him, Russian troops are divided into separate tactic battalion groups that might act either independently or together with other units of the Russian army.

Selezniov also noted that the redeployed troops are a psychological factor, as he believes the Kremlin will not dare openly invade the border controlled by Ukraine.

As reported earlier, Russian special forces officers Yerofeyev and Aleksandrov were taken captives near Shchastia, the Luhansk region.
