"I was dissatisfied with the results of his work and confrontational style of behavior, which by the way is very clearly manifested in the media campaign that is unfolding before our eyes," the minister said adding that he did not consider it ethical to take part in it.
Sasha Borovik announced earlier that he withdraws from the government. According to Borovik, this is due to the conflict with Yatseniuk.
The government stated that Borovik had never held any official position at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. He had just been presented as a candidate for the post of Deputy Minister and served as advisor.
Sasha Borovik is a German lawyer, who took Ukrainian citizenship and has been working at the Ministry on a voluntary basis for two months.
Following Borovik's statement, Prime Minister Yatseniuk said he has nothing to do with the expert's withdrawal and his resignation was initiated by Abromavicius personally as he had a lot of claims to Borovik's work. The minister himself confirmed the premier's words.
