 Two boys of 13 and 7 were injured by terrorists’ artillery strikes on Avdiivka and Luhanske villages – Interior Ministry (updated)

The terrorists opened mortar fire on Avdiivka village in the Donetsk region today, May 14, at 5.20 a.m.

Head of the Donetsk region police Viacheslav Abroskin reported on his page on Facebook, Censor NET informs.

"A boy, born in 2002, received shrapnel injuries as a result of a direct hit of the shells at the vicinity of the secondary school №2 (located on Koroliov Street 11). The victim was taken to the city hospital named after Dimitrov. The investigation and operational group of Avdiivka police department is currently working at the scene," Abroskin wrote.

He updated his report later: "The militants shelled the village of Luhanske in the Artemivsk district at 6.50 p.m. A boy, born in 2008, was wounded by shrapnel near 35 Kalinin Street as a result of the artillery strike. He was just playing outside near his home at that time. The child was sent to the city hospital in Artemivsk."
