According to him, the Board includes prominent politicians, such as Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament Elmar Brok, active member of the European Parliament Jacek Saryusz-Woslki, Carl Bildt, famous author of the Slovak reforms Mikuláš Dzurinda, well-known economist Anders Aslund, two time Prime Minister of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius.
"This is just the initial composition of the Council, which will be expanded and updated. Great friend of Ukraine, former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski expressed his desire to join the Council. A principal agreement of Senator John McCain on the participation of the Council has been received and that he reiterated it in a conversation we had today. Although he has yet to complete the official formalities in accordance with the rules of the U.S. Congress. Several other prominent international figures are in talks with us about the participation in the Council. The goal is to help Ukraine conduct reforms nu practical and proactive position in its support in the international arena," Saakashvili wrote.
He added that every two weeks a report will be issued on the reform process, the achievements and, more importantly, on the problematic issues.
"The world and, most importantly, the Ukrainian public, demand radical changes. And we will do everything we can for these changes for the beast to become a reality," Saakashvili concluded.
