The decision was approved by 229 deputies, Censor.NET reports.
Leader of the Samopomich faction Oleh Bereziuk stated that some of MPs refused to grant Miroshnyk's request: "What happened is immoral. The man decided, filed for resignation and someone else decides for," the lawmaker said.
Bereziuk believes that the reluctance of the deputies to vote in favor of this decision can be explained by their fear of responsibility.
"This is an important precedent, since in the future any deputy, whose activities raise doubts, will have to resign. That is why accepting Miroshnyk's resignation was double important," the head of the Samopomich faction said.
