"We are ready for the broadest autonomy possible, without any harm to our interests," the 'DPR' representative to the contact group on the Donbas conflict settlement Denis Pushilin said.
He also stressed that if Ukrainian authorities continue to violate Minsk agreements, as assessed by the 'DPR', the militants will move towards their independence. Pushilin noted that the 'DPR' suggested to amend the Constitution of Ukraine with an article on possibility of other regions of the state for self-governance, and stressed that the 'DPR' is ready to hold local elections.
Deinego, in his turn, said that the 'LPR' is also ready to gain autonomy within Ukraine.
'LPR' is ready to be autonomous within a different Ukraine, the one that abides by the Minsk agreements. The Constitution needs to be amended, and laws that will develop the situation need to be implemented," he said.
