 Meeting of Trilateral Contact Group on the Donbas started in Minsk - Belarusian Foreign Ministry

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus reports that the meeting of Trilateral Contact Group on the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas started in Minsk.

The Foreign Ministry said that the meeting will be held behind closed doors. There are no scheduled media events, Censor.NET reports citing Krym.Realii.

The meeting will be attended by the OSCE representative Heidi Tagliavini, the representatives of "DPR" and "LPR" terrorist groups, Ukraine will be represented by Leonid Kuchma, Russia - by Azamat Kulmuhametov.

The terrorists have also confirmed on their websites that their representatives have arrived to Minsk for talks.

Prior to that, Daria Olifer, the press secretary of Ukraine's representative in the contact group Leonid Kuchma, has reported that the contact group intends to establish the work of the four subgroups on security issues as well as political, economic and humanitarian components of the Minsk Agreement.

The administration of the President of Ukraine said that Ukraine will be represented by Volodymyr Horbulin, Yevhen Marchuk, Iryna Herashchenko and Ihor Veremii in the working subgroups of the Trilateral Contact Group on the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas.
