This was announced by the Interior Minister Arsen Avakov on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.
Avakov also noted that the criminals, who had wounded a WOG gas station worker in the Desniansky district of Kyiv, took only 823 UAH ($32) from its cash register.
"Two police officers killed, three wounded, and a gas station worker wounded. One of those killed was the father of three, the other father of two... Bastards. For 823 hryvnias..." Avakov wrote.
The minister also announced that upon search of the criminals' car, the following items were found: two machine guns and four loading cases with 5.45 bullets, two grenades, insignia reading 'Tornado Special Forces' and 'UPA', lots of cell phone cards of various providers, and a plan of a building.
"We will finish this roving bandits that piggy-back on military situations without ceremonies," Avakov stressed.
