On May 6, Moscow's Basmanny court will hold a process on appeal from defense of Nadiia Savchenko, Ukrainian aviatrix, member of Ukrainian parliament, and PACE delegate, filed against the investigation's refuse to let her go to a PACE session.

This was announced by Savchenko's lawyer Mark Feigin in his Twitter, Censor.NET reports.

"On May 6, Moscow's Basmanny court will hold a process on appeal from defense of Nadiia Savchenko, filed against the investigation's refuse to let her go to a PACE session as a delegate," Feigin noted.

As reported earlier, the European Parliament adopted a special resolution on Savchenko case on April 30, in which it declares that Savchenko, as a member of the Ukrainian delegation to the PACE, has international immunity, respect of which is one of international obligations.

European Parliament members also stressed that the Russian party's actions on kidnapping the Ukrainian pilot to Russia were illegal. The document noted that given Savchenko's unstable condition, Russia is fully responsible for her safety and health.
