 No misunderstandings between Armed Forces and Right Sector – Defense Minister

Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak stated that there was no conflict between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and detachments of the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps Right Sector.

"There are no misunderstandings between the military (of the Armed Forces and Right Sector - Ed.). They communicate with each other as usual so I do not see any problem," Poltorak told reporters at the Museum of the Great Patriotic War in Kyiv on Wednesday, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.

He said that the General Staff Deputy Chief together with the Verkhovna Rada deputy, leader of the Right Sector Dmytro Yarosh visited the neighboring camps hosting detachments of the Armed Forces and Right Sector and inspected them yesterday.

According to the minister, the Right Sector is planning to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The negotiations to choose particular detachment for their accession are underway. "They have such a desire. We also have one. We need skilled fighters - they have people with combat experience," Poltorak added.
