 Obama reckons Russia’s aggression against Ukraine among global threats

President Barack Obama called the United States and Japan global partners that stand together for security and human dignity around the world opposing Russia’s aggression against Ukraine in particular.

He said during joint press conference with Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, who arrived in the U.S. with the official visit, Censor.NET reports citing the press office of the White House.

According to Obama, the United States and Japan "are two global partners that stand together for security and human dignity around the world - opposing Russia's aggression against Ukraine, providing relief to innocent civilians threatened by ISIL, combating Ebola and promoting global health, and now offering help to the people of Nepal, who are in our prayers today."

He added that the United States and Japan are currently providing assistance to the people of Nepal, who have suffered from the devastating earthquake. Earlier, U.S. President Barack Obama stated during G20 summit in Brisbane that the United States leads the international efforts in countering Ebola and "the Russia's aggression in Ukraine," which carries a threat to the world.
