 No military parade to be held in Kyiv on May 9

The Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA) does not intend to hold a parade on the occasion of Victory Day on May 9th.

This was stated by Deputy Chairman of KCSA Petro Pantelieiev, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainian News.

"As far as I know, there will be no parade. There will be many events that are dedicated to the celebration of the memory of those who laid their lives for the victory. This will be a celebration involving top government officials," he said.

According to him, a complete list of events in Kyiv on May 9 can be found on the official website of the city administration.

Earlier, the Interior Ministry announced that it will engage about 7,000 officers to protect public order for the period of May holidays (May 1-10) in Kyiv.
