Guizot Uhlava served as Deputy Chief Prosecutor of Georgia during Mikheil Saakashvili presidency. After completion of prosecutorial career, Uhlava worked as a lawyer and was defending ex-mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava.
The NAB head will have two deputies. One of them will oversee the work of the Bureau's detectives and the second will head its security body. Sytnyk added that he soon plans to announce a competition for filling of 15 administrative positions that are crucial to run the office.
Sytnyk said that he expected to attract young professionals to work in the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. According to him, the Bureau will hire about 200 investigators while the experience will not be required from most of them. At the same time, the legal education will be obligatory condition for hiring. The operational experience will be the requirement for senior detectives.
It should be reminded that Sytnyk was appointed head of NAB on April 16 as a result of the open contest.
