 Two people wounded in railway explosion on terrorist-held area of Luhansk region

At 7.20 a.m., an explosion occurred under a diesel-locomotive haul between Shepylove and Sentianivka railway stations (Popasna town area) on the terrorist-held area of the Luhansk region.

Two railroad workers were injured, Censor.NET reports citing the headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Luhansk region.

The rails exploded while two diesel-locomotives where moving. One of them ran off the rails.

One of the wounded railroad workers was delivered to Popasna town hospital, while the other received medical treatment at the scene.

The movement of trains on the section is suspended.

The information about the accident has been registered in the Unified Register of pre-trial investigations on the basis of Article 113 of the Criminal Code (sabotage).
