 First Deputy Chairman of Mejlis detained during Crimean Tatars representative body meeting in occupied Crimea

The Russian law enforcers have taken First Deputy Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Nariman Jalal for questioning just from the meeting Friday, April 24.

Head of the Central Election Commission of Qurultai of the Crimean Tatar People Zair Smedliaiev wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"First Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis Nariman Jalal was taken away for questioning by the Investigative Committee representatives during a meeting of the Mejlis today," Smedliaiev wrote.

It should be reminded that the "authorities" of annexed Crimea summoned First Deputy Chairman of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Nariman Jalal for questioning March 27. The Russian authorities raided the house of Refat Chubarov's deputy Jalal later on the same day.
